Bio & Hobbies

I've always been someone who just goes with the flow and sees where my interests takes me. Outside of school and coding, I'm big into fashion and music. I've gone to Lollapalooza for the last three years and music has always been a huge part of my life. I've even made some of my own songs in the past. These days, I'm trying to pick up DJing to hopefully make the birthday parties I attend a little more fun.

I'm also a big fan of "tinker" projects. I just got a PS Vita and I'm getting ready to mod it, which is just a fun way to mess around with tech and get into nostalgic games I didn't have access to when I was a kid. Back during COVID, I was obsessed with skateboarding (shoutout to Versace Plug) and even though I don't skate as much now, I still love that mix of style and technicality. Overall I just love good design, cool tech, and loud music.

My Journey

To be honest, I didn't always know what I wanted to do for a career. After high school, I started out at Knox College for Business, but it wasn't the right fit, so I withdrew. I ended up at Butler Community College where I just kept "stacking" credits until I had three different Associate degrees. This "evolution" of my education eventually led me to Fort Hays State University for Web and Mobile Development.

Finding web dev was the "click" moment where my love for design met my interest in tech. After undergrad, I've been accepted into Georgia Tech's M.S. in Computer Science to learn even more advanced ways to build things. My goal is to keep growing as a developer and eventually create apps that are as stylish as they are functional.
